3 Ways For Kids and Teenagers to Stay Fit

Leading a healthy and active life is not only for the adults. It is necessary for the kids as well as teens to stay fit and healthy. Exercise provides many benefits to the kids as well apart from staying healthy and fit. It helps in staying fit physically, improves self-esteem, helps you in excelling in school and studies, feeling active and many more.

It is common amongst children to gain weight. You will feel yourself to be worried always as you can't seem to fit in just because of your body. An increase in the number of obese children is also seen in many of the kids today and the main reason is our lifestyle. Taking a look at your daily routine you will find out that it doesn't involves much activity i.e. attending lectures in the morning, returning home and resting.

Nowadays, most of the exercise articles focus on adult exercises but this article will only focus on how kids can stay healthy. Remember that you should follow an exercise plan regularly in order to achieve complete fitness. If you do so not only will you feel healthy during adolescent age but you will be able to lead a healthy lifestyle as an adult. When you will get older you will be kept away from things like stroke, diabetes and heart attacks. Given below are some exercises that young generation can follow to keep themselves fit and healthy.

1.Aerobic exercises that are vigorous: You should regularly carry out vigorous aerobic exercise that will burn away excess fat and keep your body toned and healthy. Some aerobic exercises that are vigorous are tennis, football, running, swimming, jogging, walking and soccer. You can also join a school team in order to maintain an exercise program.

2.Strength training: This type of exercise is best for building strength and increasing muscle endurance. Free weights, weight of your body and strength training machines are used in this workout plan. When you start an exercise program you should not use any weights and get your body used to the exercise before you start using weights. You can also take help of an expert or a coach who will let you know which exercise to do and the right way of doing them without causing any injury.

3.Exercising Regularly: You should also focus on programmed exercise such as moving around occasionally or kickboxing.
