Apple and Steve Jobs desire to make things smaller could influence their decision to release the iPhone Nano which currently provides a hotly debated topic. Will they or won't they, that is the question.
The iPhone Nano topic is not one that seems to want to die, the rumor mill is constantly churning out design ideas and phone specs whetting peoples appetite in anticipation for the launch of it. Everyday iPhone, Apple blogs and general gadget blogs come up with leaks and potential images of the new iPhone. It's hard to tell whether they are real or fake, whop really knows.
One person surely must know and that is Steve Jobs, Apple is currently on top of the cellular market and have made a significant dent in other cellphone manufacturers sales, Nokia for one are hurting right now, they are trying to keep up with the iPhone snowball that seems to be getting larger by the day.
One way that Apple can really put the thumbscrews on these other manufacturers is to bring out a new iPhone that trumps the previous 2G and 3G models. A 4G iPhone is hotly tipped to be launched this summer, this is normal practice for Apple who like to change models similarly akin to that of a Soccer team changing strip design very year.
What would be fantastic to see is an iPhone Nano this summer, lets face is the iPhone 3G whilst slim is not the smallest phone on the market, it certainly shows up in your jean pocket showing a lump that might give people the wrong idea. With the launch of the Nano it could entice a whole new collective of people that simply decide the current iPhone is too large. The Nano model would be ideal for nights out easily sliding into tight jeans or small purses.
The iPhone Nano could easily be tweaked to look similar to the current iPhone by making the rows of icons three wide and three deep, currently it is four by four. However having seen some mock ups Apple could decide to design something similar to the iPod Nano.
Either way you can be assured that any new iPhone Nano will be an instant success and push Apple even further in front of other cellphone manufactures, much to the their envy.
